Alec Katz is a sought out jazz pianist, composer and arranger who’s authentic style is true to real jazz roots, yet is original. Alec is a long time active on both Israeli and International scenes. He had played and recorded with Arnie Lawrence,  Slide Hampton, Billy Hart, Donald Harrison, Chuck Israels, Kevin Mahogany and many others.

Besides being active as a performing musician, Alec is a dedicated jazz educator with teaching experience for more than 20 years. Many of his students have built successful musical careers locally and internationally. Alec Katz teaches piano, harmony, improvisation and ensembles at The Center for Jazz Studies, The Israeli Conservatory Tel Aviv and at Rimon School of Music.

Alec is available for private and group lessons in-person and online, via Skype or Zoom.
