Think on Me

| Updated on April 15, 2021

Nice things happen these times too. I am excited to share with you a little project I have made with my old friend, a very fine musician from The Netherlands Niels Tausk. Niels is the most lyrical jazz trumpet player I’ve ever met. He is also a great bassist.

It is nice to play with him again since we’ve played in the late ’90s. I have participated with him in 1998 at Criss Cross’ records’ Studio 44 in Monster, Holland for his album Autumn In New York

Here is a beautiful tune by George Cables called ‘Think on Me’. It is one of my favorites. We added to it some Brazilian touch. Niels plays here on flugelhorn, double bass, guitar, percussion, drums and he did the mixing and video editing (!). I play piano, melodica, electric piano, and synth. strings that I’ve recorded with my DAW.

Niels calls this ironically “Chromakey All-stars band” :). He likes to experiment with video editing using Chromakey.

Here is a really nice video he has made:

That’s all for now. I hope you enjoyed this one. Stay in touch and check back for more good things to come. You can subscribe for the occasional news and updates here
